Sizing Information

APRON DRESS SIZING

Each dress listing includes a few measurements. Make sure that you know your own measurements so that you can choose an item that will fit you best.

The sizing on these dresses is a little different than traditional dress sizes because they are made specifically for fluctuating bodies.

The most important measurement to take is the smallest part of your torso. For most people that is the waist, but it could also be the underbust. The next measurement to know is from your shoulder to waist, or the length of your torso. If you have a large chest, you might want to measure from your waist to waist over your shoulder to get a more accurate number (divide that measurement in half). This torso length number will help when you look at particular dresses, as all the torso lengths vary slightly. Total length (from shoulder to hem) is the last measurement that will be listed in each dress listing.

Size Garment Waist Measurement (in) Recommended Waist Range (in) Standard Size Conversion
Sz 1 ~ 43 25 - 35 XS - XL
Sz 2 ~ 58 32 - 48 L - 3XL
Sz 3 ~ 70 40 - 60 1XL - 5XL
Sz 4 ~ 85 50 - 70 3XL - 6XL

***make sure to check individual measurements on each dress as they vary due to their handmade nature***

Because many waist measurements fall into multiple dress sizes, you need to decide on the fit you want! If your waist measurement is on the higher end of the range, then you will have less overlap under the arms and in the skirt and it will fit more snug. If your waist measurement is at the lower end of the range you will have more overlap under the arms and in the skirt, but the fit might be slightly baggier.

COAT & JACKET SIZING

Each coat listing includes a few measurements. Make sure that you know your own measurements so that you can choose an item that will fit you best.

Because the coats are a boxy design, base your size choice on your largest torso circumference. This might be your bust/chest, your belly, or your hips/butt.

I suggest choosing a coat with, at the very least, 5in of ease (room to move) based on your largest measurement.

Each listing includes these garment measurements, in inches:

PTP - Armpit to armpit, taken flat. Double this number for bust/torso circumference
Length - measured from shoulder to hem
Bottom - bottom opening, from side seam to side seam, taken flat. Double for circumference.
Now for the actual coats...
